What is Enlit?
Enlit vows to light the spark that will fuel the change we need to ensure our industry – and our planet – have the brightest possible future.
Enlit is a series of energy events unlike any other – because they are more than just energy events. Enlit is a community that for 365-days a year will collaborate and innovate to solve the most pressing energy-related issues.
For the Australian edition, the Enlit community will come together for two days in Melbourne in July to meet and inspire each other and to develop their discussions and actions into a plan for the coming year.
And so the Enlit circle begins: a constantly growing, inclusive and end-to-end forum that addresses every aspect of Australia’s energy transition.
The boundaries of the sector are blurring and this evolution is being shaped by established players, external disruptors, innovative start-ups and the increasingly engaged end-user.
We believe in an equitable energy transition that leaves no one behind. From corporates to consumers, investors to entrepreneurs, and engineers to activists – we promise to welcome you all and to give you the ability to seize all of the opportunities that the energy transition has to offer. Energy is evolving. So are we – so are you. Together we will make a difference.
In 2018 Power Australia was launched to bring the Australian industry its first power conference and exhibition focused on providing a forum where the industry was covered from end-to-end: generation, transmission and distribution through retail, to the end use customer. The rapid introduction of renewable energy into the system required executives from all segments of the industry to make decisions from a holistic perspective rather than from the traditional silos.
In 2019 we merged with Australian Utility Week, owned by Clarion Events. This allowed us to fully realise our vision of covering the industry from generation to grid to the increasingly engaged end-user.
In 2020 we became Enlit Australia, as part of the Clarion global brand that has unified the POWERGEN and Utility Week events in Europe, Asia and Africa as the inclusive guides to the energy transition. As part of a global network, Enlit Australia will have access to speakers, content and attendees from around the world, bringing to the Australian industry a broad range of opportunities both now and in the future.
