
Aaron Scott
Country Leader, GE Gas Power
Aaron is the Country Leader for GE Gas Power in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, and has over 20 years of experience within the power generation industry.
Aaron has worked for GE Power since 2000 in a number of sales and development roles across the energy spectrum and has a deep understanding of the power generation industry across the Asia Pacific region. He has worked on a wide variety of projects across all forms of generation including hydro, wind, steam and gas.
More recently, Aaron led the decarbonisation strategy for GE in Australia which has lead to the successful development of the Tallawarra B project, the first large gas turbine to operate on a blend of natural gas and hydrogen in Australia.
Prior to joining GE, Aaron worked for Woodward Governor Company as a Project Engineer working on power generation control system projects globally including work in New Zealand, Australia and the Europe.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering Management from Canterbury University.
